Our Story
Founded 25 years ago, Texas Moon Gourmet Toffee has developed a following of fans for this delicious candy's unique and memorable flavor. The recipe was created by Gail White, who made it for friends and family during the holidays each year. After years of rave reviews from these friends, her daughter decided it would have mass appeal. And, she was right!
Today, people from across the country can’t wait until the candy is made available each season. We use only the freshest ingredients, much of which are grown in Texas qualifying it as a Go Texan product. Its’ crunchy texture and delicious, buttery flavor make it a favorite treat each year during the holidays.

A Family Tradition
Three generations are involved in the history of Texas Moon Gourmet Toffee. Gail White (left) created the original recipe; Sadie Moon Hudson (center), whose maiden name inspired the naming of the candy, and Victoria Ashworth (right) is the founder of the Texas Moon company.
